Active data push in server cannot be done in web protocal. Even if the developer wanted to put real time multi-play in web protocal it cannot be done.
Now ProudNet solves the problem by supporting Adobe Flash in the engine. MMORPG game like Lineage 1 can be developed using Flash.
We're currently done testing our internal MMO shooting game using the latest Flash supporting ProudNet.
We even put Client made by C++ and made "Flash Client against C++ client" work.
CCU of 10,000 players will also work in one physical server.
